The site looks at how to check on information quality, and lists eight checkpoints you need to analyse information found on the Internet. It uses imaginary examples, quizzes and puzzles to let the children find out for themselves the concepts surrounding information quality. Because the site is supported by the Health Education Authority, many of the examples are health related, but the concepts can be used in any subject that requires information skills. Older pupils with Special Educational Needs can use this site successfully. Publisher's WebsiteFind out more... |
