This title is very good fun. The purpose it suits best is the development of fine mouse skills. It would also be useful for a child who is unable to recognise numerals, or put them in order, as it asks them to make pictures by joining the dots in order. The early activities are very good for introducing young children to the computer and simple number and letter recognition. The stories are read aloud, so Special Educational Needs children and those with Learning Difficulties are supported.

I am extremely impressed by this site but more as a resource for teachers to use than something an average Key Stage 3 pupil will be able to ‘stick with’ due to its heavy reliance on text – albeit of the highest possible standard. This is an immensely useful site that teachers will be able to return to again and again. The publishers of this site have shown that it is possible to provide a simple-to-use service that is where the user can find meaningful information quickly with a minimum of fuss. This is an excellent resource which I recommend to teachers who are looking for a source of excellent material to support the work they are doing in their lessons.

This is an excellent piece of software. It is well organised, easy to navigate and benefits from the use of video and audio files which provide instant support and clarification. Each song is demonstrated and the level of progression is logical and evenly paced. There are helpful sections on guitar maintenance and the introduction and development of new songs keep the user interested. This is an individual guitar tutor for people who want to teach themselves.
