People in Science: Elements and Atoms is an innovative program which Key Stage 4 pupils will find interesting and motivating. It aims to foster the understanding of how scientific ideas, particularly with regard to elements and atoms, developed over the centuries. It provides a great deal of practice in using other skills relating to both ICT and Literacy. With familiarity, it is an easy program to operate and each student should be able to produce an interesting sequence that can be saved for later use. Useful activities are provided in text form and more information is offered online. The program offers differentiation for more able and less able students. This program may well show a way forward for multimedia learning over the next few years. Read KS4 evaluation... |
