Key Stage 1 teachers, including those with limited confidence on computers, will enjoy using this basic and unambitious program. There are 22 well designed, easy and reasonably attractive ICT activities based upon the Key Stage 1 Science Curriculum. Most pupils can work independently. Useful science-based computer activities include labelling parts of the body and of a plant, constructing an electrical circuit, or putting pictures of plant growth in sequence. There are several drawing programs and many of the activities support Sc.1 and can be used when collecting evidence, or planning and recording investigations. Graphs that record a range of measurements can be created and children can record their own findings, supported by the word bank provided, or teachers can easily create their own word bank for this activity.
