Braintastic Maths Skills is a set of CDs which can be added to subject and age wise. It is designed to motivate pupils. Pupils face a set of questions which they must answer correctly before being rewarded with one of three games. The questions are well presented and support the maths curriculum but the games are not educational and two are geared more towards boys. Teachers have access to a secure area where they can select which questions pupils answer as well as the number that they need to answer correctly before being rewarded with a game. Pupils’ progress is recorded and teachers can see how many questions have been answered correctly on the first and second attempt as well as how many have not been answered correctly.

Braintastic Maths holds a wide range of activited that are appropriate to the Foundation and Key Stage 1 child. The title can be used in a wide variety of ways, individually, pairs or as a whole class activity. There are a wide variety of questions - 3,000 and this helps to ensure that the program remains fresh for the user. The ability to select the area that you wish the child to work on and the number of questions that they have to attempt helps to personalise it. The reward games at the end of the questions would motivate the user to keep trying
