'Indigo Illustrations - Planet Earth' has been designed to support the learning and teaching of Geography and Science by providing approximately one hundred high quality illustrations and accompanying text. The images are separated into the following sections: Shaping Earth; Oceans; Life/Habitat; The Planet; Rocks; and Maps and Charts. Once a suitable illustration has been found, both it and the accompanying text can be copied simply into the majority of word-processing and graphic packages. It is also easy to print the pictures and text using the programs interface.'Planet Earth' also provides the teacher with five activity sheets, which are designed to help support lessons and stimulate the pupils' independent learning. The illustrations supplied support the topics covered in the KS2 syllabus for studying the Earth, although some areas are covered in greater detail than others.

I used this product as a means to an end, in that I wanted children to learn the skill of copying, pasting and then editing their work in a word processing program. This easy to use resource bank of illustrations supports that in a nice simple way.
