When I first saw this package I immediately recognised the images on the front sleeve and knew that they would be of high quality and useful in a multicultural context. I hoped that it would be useful for use with children new to English as well as children with Special Educational Needs. On opening the pack I was pleased to find that they had supplied a quick start as well as a more comprehensive manual which proved invaluable at a later stage.

I used this title with an interactive whiteboard and found that it was ideal for introducing a wide variety of language and promoting thinking skills. It was used during the Literacy Hour in both shared and independent work and promoted discussion amongst the children.
