If you are interested in catering for visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners in Science, this innovative CD-ROM is for you. It uses interactive games, lesson plans, animations, music and video to demonstrate multi-sensory approaches to the teaching of scientific concepts. The Science – Physical model is based closely on the Accelerated Learning Cycle and uses dance as the key activity. The lesson content is tailored to the Key Stage 2 Curriculum and it is designed to help teachers generate exciting multi-sensory lessons to help children learn, understand and retain scientific concepts.

The title was used with Year 5 and 6 children post-SATs and a motivational and inspirational product was a must! The product excelled at providing traditional Science teaching within an innovative context. The children were active from the very beginning and were inspired by the raps and the dance activities particularly. Children worked together in teams and small groups creating dance routines and poses to demonstrate scientific processes and terminology. This was amazing to see and I was very impressed with their creativity and ability to demonstrate what are often complex terms to articulate. The whole lessons are based on the accelerated learning cycle and are very up to date with the latest creativity-inspired pedagogy. The lessons were inspiring and motivational, not just for the children but also for me as a teacher. Once you have taught one you can't wait to utilise others and as there is a range of lessons available this is possible. The software also inspires you to think differently and incorporate a greater range of teaching and learning styles into traditionally classroom-based lessons. Simply brilliant!
