Everything about this database program screams quality. You may be tempted to think ' I have Access, why do I need this?'. The answer is simple: this database is easy to load, easy to access, easy to operate, yet is powerful and contains a wealth of first-rate cross-curricular resources as well. The manual is thorough and clearly written, and serves as a definitive textbook for students seeking to learn about the function, operation and creation of databases. Despite being evaluated at Key Stage 3, this software is certainly powerful enough for A-level computing students, and very possibly beyond. Unreservedly recommended.

This package is to be recommended to any ICT Co-ordinator who is looking for a data handling package. However, one should not be fooled into thinking that because it is aimed at education, it is an inferior product to some on the market. This program is extremely powerful, and by using it students can carry out all of the data handling tasks required by the National Curriculum, even up to 'exceptional performance' level.

This program comes with a good pedigree, as it is based on the Pinpoint series of database packages which Logotron previously produced. From a teaching perspective, it is a pleasing change to come across a package which is able to compete with the more commonly used commercial alternatives designed with business, and not education, in mind.
