This package offers a clear and very useful approach to traditional tales and associated texts at Key Stage 2 and would prove a useful addition to the Key Stage 2 teacher’s repertoire. Its adaptability ensures that it can be used with a class or group approach, working effectively in either set-up. As the Big Book and CD-ROM hold the same text, either can be used, which adds to the adaptability as work can continue away from the computer. The wide assortment of related activities published in the Big Book and on the CD-ROM ensure that a variety of Literacy approaches can be studied with the support of ICT and the accompanying documentation provides added value. This element could have been extended much further for more effective use of interactive learning for children. Read KS2 evaluation... |
